2015 Computational Color Imaging Workshop
(CCIW'15)

Saint Etienne, France
24-26 March 2015


The program of the workshop is available since the 19th of December 2014.

We recommend CCIW attendees to book their hotel as soon as possible, most of hotel are almost full (due to the 9th Biennale Internationale Design organised in March-April 2015, see http://www.biennale-design.com/saint-etienne/2015/en/)

The notification to authors was sent the 1st of December 2014.

The next COSCH Management Committee and Steering Committee meetings are scheduled the 27-28 March 2015.


The Fifth IAPR Computational Color Imaging Workshop (CCIW'15) will be held in Saint Etienne, France, on 24-26 March 2015.

The Fifth CCIW will be organized by the University Jean Monnet (Saint Etienne, France) with the endorsement of the International Association on Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and of the French Association for Pattern Recognition and Interpretation (AFRIF) affiliated with IAPR and with the endorsement of the "Groupe Français de l'Imagerie Numérique Couleur" (GFINC). 

Planning this workshop, the organizers would like to focus on the methods and applications of digital color image processing and analysis. The workshop is intended for researchers and practitioners in the digital imaging, multimedia, visual communications, computer vision, and consumer electronic industry, who are interested in the fundamentals of color image processing and its emerging applications in the areas listed below:

Computational color vision models

Perceptual color image processing

Digital color image content protection

Bio-inspired color image/video processing methods

Color image/video indexing and retrieval

Multi-spectral/color image analysis and reproduction

Color image/video quality assessment

Color image filtering and enhancement

Color data compression and encoding

Special session on Color in Digital Cultural Heritage

The 26 March a special session on Color in Digital Cutural Heritage, co-organized by the European COST Action TD1201 (http://www.cosch.info) will focus on color in Digital Cultural Heritage. This special session is intended for researchers and practitioners in the Digital Cultural Heritage, who are interested in theoretical and/or practical aspects of color in Cultural Heritage applications.

  

The CCIW'15 proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series http://www.springer.com/LNCS/.  

                                                                                                                                                            

Papers should be no more than 8-10 pages in length, conforming to the authors formatting instructions of Springer, LNCS series. Papers will be judged by an international program committee based on their originality, significance, correctness and clarity. All papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format at CCIW'15 paper submission website.
